Visit of International Road Transport Union (IRU) Specialists to the Nasir Training Center at the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization
Following a tripartite memorandum of understanding between the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization, the International Road Transport Union (IRU), and the Iran Chamber of Commerce, IRU specialists visited the professional driving simulation center, a knowledge-based initiative by the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization.
During the visit, which coincided with the second week of the TTT (CPC Manager) professional training course, the IRU experts reviewed the center's driving simulators, discussed potential uses for driver training, and evaluated various scenarios. The center's state-of-the-art facilities, entirely developed by Iranian experts under sanctions, received praise from IRU's senior specialist, Blagoya Jovanoski.
Hamzeh Zakeri, head of the Center for Education, Studies, and Innovation, highlighted the organization’s commitment to developing new technologies and emphasized the potential for collaboration with the IRU in training drivers at all skill levels. Jovanoski also commended the remarkable progress of Iran’s young engineers in designing and building driving simulators.
The visit concluded with an agreement to continue cooperation to enhance the training and skills of professional drivers, which could lead to significant improvements in road safety.
